Premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD)

A more serious mood condition that PMS which causes depression, anxiety and severe irritability a week or two before your period starts. It can be very difficult to deal with, and treated with antidepressant medication in serious cases. Usually symptoms go away 2 or 3 days after your period starts.
